My sister-in-law ordered an outfit from the Instagram store @rivaajsilkstore (Rivaaj / Rivaaj Silk Store) after seeing their bridal wear posts. They were responsive initially and asked for advance payment. She paid ₹20,000 INR. After the payment: • Responses became very slow • No shipping details were provided • Messages are being delivered but not answered • No refund has been issued To test whether they were deliberately avoiding her, we called the store from a different phone number. The call was answered. However, the moment the caller identified themselves as following up about my sister-in-law’s pending outfit, the woman on the phone immediately hung up. After that: • Calls from both numbers are no longer being answered • Messages continue to be ignored At this point, it appears the seller is knowingly avoiding communication after receiving payment. The account appears legitimate on the surface (many posts, bridal content, client videos), which makes this especially worrying.
